Lincolnshire Aviation Centre at East Kirkby plays host to a bike night every June, in which riders have the opportunity to park their bikes and stand next to the famous “Just Jane” Lancaster Bomber. The highlight of the night has to be when they fire up the 4×12 cylinder Rolls Merlin engines, the sound is awesome!

In 2010 we had over 2,000 bikes attend the event. The entry fee was reduced to only £5 per bike which enabled us to raise a lot of money to help keep the Lancaster and the Museum open. Each year we draw a raffle in which the winners get chance to go inside the cockpit when the Lancaster engines are fired up. This is a unique event /opportunity and there is nowhere else in the world that can you do this. Be sure to come along to the next event.
