Cadwell Park will be swapping horsepower for gravity power in November for the Gravity Racing Festival. 13th November 2010.
The event showcases a variety of gravity-powered machinery and highlights include a competition for go-kart style soapbox racers – which has attracted past entries from the likes of Vauxhall, Honda and the MG Car Club as well as amateur enthusiasts.
There will also be a gravity bike contest – featuring BMX machinery with no pedals! – and a trio of skateboarding events including a slalom time trial and a spectacular downhill street luge.
Plus, the 2010 Gravity Racing Festival will feature a new Gravity Sidecar category and a Grand Finale race as the fastest soapbox racer, gravity bike, gravity sidecar, skateboard and luge go head-to-head to be crowned the overall ‘Gravity King’.
